We were invited by the Nest to come and try out a variety of different events & activities and to share our experience. If I had to chose a favourite it would be the facial & massage and the coaching with Amanda. Please do have a read so that you can get a flavour of The Nest!
If you’d like to book any of these experiences, just head to their website and follow the booking details.
Ice Bath – Paul

I knew my husband would be keen so I suggested we did it as a couple, despite being nervous myself! Paul began by taking us through some guided breath work – simple techniques to stay calm through the process. We then went outside to the Meadow where there’s a tepee tent and a bath which he filled with ice. One by one we took it in turns to sink into the bath. I immediately bobbed straight out in a panic but Paul calmed my breathing and I was able to lower myself again and stay in for a while longer. My husband loved it and was very serene. He felt great for the rest of the day!
Facial & Massage – Lindsey

At the start I was greeted by Beth where she gave me a tea menu so I could chose from one of their special in-house blends. After, I went into the massage room where Lindsey made me feel super relaxed and comfortable. I enjoyed a lovely facial with natural (& locally made) Husk & Seed and Sacred products (some of which you can buy at The Nest). Lindsey put heated mittens on my hands and wrapped me in a warm blanket which was so cosy (it was a cold day!) and then an excellent massage followed. I floated all the way home.
New Moon Circle – Natalie
The evening began with a small circle of candles in the centre and mats around it. Everyone sat down and Natalie explained how the evening will unfold. It included ceremonial cacao, oracle cards, breath work and alchemy crystal sound bowls. Infused with reiki, love & essential oils. There was a chance to talk about what you might be finding stressful or perhaps give a reason why you were there. It was a safe space where you are encouraged to share if you are comfortable to do so. It was super relaxing and a generous moment to press pause on life and indulge in some self-care.
Teen Coaching – Beth

Beth is Head of the Children’s well-being program and Teen Coach at The Nest – she has a gentle and easy way with children. My girls spent some time talking to her about school, home, relationships and friendships. They found her really easy to talk to, warm and open. They really enjoyed their time with her and would be keen to meet up with her again for another session.
Coaching – Amanda
Amanda is the Master Coach and Ultimate Success Mentor here at The Nest. I enjoyed an hour’s session with her. Coming into it, I didn’t know what to expect and didn’t think I had anything to talk about but after a few probing questions from Amanda, I found there was lots to talk about and indeed to work on! Amanda’s style is direct and encouraging and I really enjoyed my time with her. I left feeling inspired and encouraged to make some small changes.
