The event is timed to coincide with the early summer blooms that enrapture this historic garden in colour and scent. From the red, white and blue Flag Garden, abounding with scented roses and lavender, to the deep herbaceous borders and colour themed sections of the Jubilee Walk, graduating from hot reds and oranges to cooler purples and blues.

Other attractions over the weekend will include hosted garden tours with Head Gardener at Penshurst Place, Tony Wiseman (Sunday 8th June only); live music with the Bromley Town Band, weaving demonstrations and displays from Ruth Gray, as well as a host of local exhibitors including Emma Stokes who is famed for her landscape photography, and the Kent Wildlife Trust, plus plentiful children’s activities and entertainment.

It’s a weekend not to be missed and provides a great opportunity to celebrate horticulture, nature and the beautiful landscape of our county.
