Since the time of King Henry VIII the George & Dragon, Chipstead has been offering hospitality to locals and visitors. Renovated for the modern era by Benjamin James in 2009, his mission was to breathe life back into a beautiful but tired sixteenth-century pub, using tasteful decor, a roaring log fire and a menu that changes daily and uses the best of what the local, organic farms in Kent, Sussex, and Surrey have to offer.
