Looking for something a little different for your child this summer?

House in the Basement Youth Café, in partnership with Games Master Kent, is offering two FREE beginner-friendly Dungeons & Dragons taster sessions for young people aged 11–17.

Designed especially for complete beginners, these sessions provide a fun and welcoming introduction to the world’s most popular tabletop roleplaying game. Through collaborative storytelling, teamwork and imaginative problem-solving, participants will build confidence, communication skills and creativity—all while embarking on an exciting fantasy adventure.

✔ No previous experience required

✔ All game materials provided

✔ Led by an experienced educator with over 20 years’ experience and a current DBS check

✔ Places limited to six participants per session to ensure plenty of individual support

The sessions are being run as a pilot programme in partnership with House in the Basement Youth Café to introduce local young people to tabletop roleplaying in a safe, structured and inclusive environment.
