The New Beacon Nursery, for boys and girls from 3 years old, moved to a new, purpose-built, architecturally designed building with its own playground and gardens in January. Set within a beautiful 22-acre school site, the rooms are bright and spacious, equipped with innovative early learning resources that complement the unique curriculum.
The Nursery features a dedicated art area, an age-appropriate library, and indoor and outdoor play areas, including a playground just for the Nursery. The outdoor spaces are a blend of undercover and open-air environments, with a garden, sandpit, and large outdoor playground. Children also have access to The New Beacon’s exceptional facilities, including the Sports Centre, Astro Turf Pitch, Swimming Pool, Art and Music School, Chapel, and Theatre.
Outdoor activities include a dedicated outdoor classroom in the school’s woodland, pond dipping, nature walks, and gardening, all contributing to a dynamic learning experience. The early-years programme fosters a love of learning, providing a nurturing space where children can explore, discover, and develop their skills and interests.
At The New Beacon they believe early childhood education is essential in laying the foundation for future success. Their child-centred approach tailors the curriculum to meet each child’s needs and interests, incorporating hands-on learning, creative arts, and physical activities to promote holistic development. Early maths, literacy, and phonics skills are also introduced, building a strong foundation for academic success.
At The New Beacon Nursery, they are committed to offering excellent value for money by including as much as possible in the fees and accepting vouchers or funding to support families. Join them and give your child the best start in their educational journey.
