As the darker nights draw in, the focus turns to comfort, depth, and connection celebrating beautiful ingredients such as stem broccoli, squash, leeks, mushrooms, and sesame seeds.
A touch of home comes through in Maria’s beloved pepe soup, described as a “food hug in a bowl,” and her pepe chicken skewers, a nod to Sierra Leone’s popular street food.
A few returning favourites also make an appearance, largely by popular demand from loyal regulars (who know exactly who they are) who insisted that life simply wouldn’t be the same without the signature beef short rib.
