St Michael’s Prep Nursery

St Michael’s Prep School is a non-selective, coeducational school for children aged 2-13 years promoting a rich, varied and balanced education within a Christian context. St Michael’s challenges pupils to achieve their best and strive for excellence in all that they do; fostering the joy and wonder of learning in them. Children are helped to understand themselves as individuals, their feelings and emotions, how they can affect others and to show tolerance and respect for the diversity of the world in which they live.

St Michael’s Prep School recognises every child as an individual and aims to promote their happiness, self-confidence and well-being as members of a caring community. Children are given opportunities to make a difference to their school and to the wider world. The school’s motto; perseverance, wisdom and gratitude encapsulates the cornerstones of this education.

Nursery is where the wonderful learning journey at St Michael’s starts. Children in Nursery join our loving and nurturing team, where they are provided with endless opportunities to develop and explore their independence, language, social skills and ideas. They have full access to our indoor and outdoor areas and develop creativity, imagination and critical thinking skills; all areas are equipped with high quality resources and furnishing, designed to stimulate.

From the comfort of a close team, and personal key worker, your child has access to a range of carefully planned, play-based activities aimed at captivating them and developing their skills in all of learning areas.

St Michael’s has recently been highlighted by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) as providing strong pastoral care to all of its pupils.
