If your kids are anything like ours, they’ll be chomping at the bit to get involved with this year’s Summer Reading Challenge. The lure of a golden medal is simply too much to take!
Well the good news is that all 11 of our local Sevenoaks district libraries are on board and it’s very straight-forward to get involved. Just pop along to any of the following branches; Edenbridge, Hartley, Kemsing, New Ash Green, Otford, Riverhead, Seal, Sevenoaks, Swanley, Westerham & West Kingsdown, sign up to the challenge, read 6 books of your choice and collect rewards along the way. Once the challenge is complete your child will receive a certificate and a gold medal!
In addition to the Reading Challenge, there are several crafts and activities available to do that are either free of charge or a small fee applies. See image above with more details.
